1. General

The following terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) are valid between you and The SYD Company AB, reg. no. 559262-7441 (“SYD, “we”, “us”, “our”) and apply to all use of and orders placed on SYD’s website, www.talkaboutsyd.com (the "Website"), and orders made by telephone or e-mail with SYD’s Customer Care.

By visiting the Website and/or making a purchase on the Website and thereby engaging in our “Service”, you confirm that you have read and agree to the Terms and Conditions, including additional terms and conditions referenced herein and/or made available by hyperlink, e.g. the Privacy Policy. Please ensure you have read and understood the Terms and Conditions before you place an order.

These Terms and Conditions apply to all users of the Website, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/ or contributors of content. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any services. If these Terms and Conditions e are considered an offer, acceptance is expressly limited to these Terms and Conditions.

SYD reserves the right to update, revise or replace any part of these Terms and Conditions at any time. You can review the most current version of the Terms and Conditions on this page. The date of the latest update is found in the final section of the Terms and Conditions.  It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

The Website is hosted on Centra Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

2. Products

SYD does not guarantee that all products presented on the Website are in stock or available for purchase and reserve our right to stop selling a product. Products purchased on the Website are subject to return or exchange according to our Return policy, see more on right of withdrawal under point 10 below.

SYD aims to always describe and represent the products on the Website as accurately as possible. However, please note that due to the color settings of your computer, the colors of the products shown in the pictures on the Website can differ somewhat from their actual colors. SYD cannot be held responsible for any such discrepancy.

We reserve the right to discontinue a product at any time.

3. Prices

Upon your first visit to the Website, a pop-up window will appear and request that you confirm your location and currency. You can also update your preferred currency at any time in the footer of the website. Prices on the Website are shown in either (SEK) Swedish krona, (DKK) Danish krona, (NOK) Norwegian krona, (GBP) British pound, or (EUR) Euro where you are visiting the Website from. Prices and delivery costs are shown including VAT within the EU, Norway and UK.

The prices and delivery costs shown on the Website may vary from time to time and SYD is not bound by the price until we have accepted the order by sending the shipping confirmation to you. Prices for our products are subject to change without notice at any time.

Please note that delivery costs are not included in the prices for the products. The delivery costs are shown in connection with the shipping methods in the checkout.

If you have placed an order and the price has changed before we have accepted your order, see section 7, we will notify you by email about the price change and give you the option to place a new order with the new price or cancel the old order. If we are unable to contact you, your order will be cancelled. SYD always reserves the right to cancel any order prior to our acceptance of the order. If we already have received payment for a cancelled order the amount will be repayed to you. Please note that SYD may cancel your order even if it has been accepted by us under the condition that you realize or should have realized that the price information was incorrect.

4. Placing an order

Please ensure that you have read and understand the Terms and Conditions before you place an order. To place an order on the Website, you must be at least the age of majority in the country, state or province that you are located in. SYD reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

Before you place your order, you will be given the opportunity to review your selections, the information you have provided, the total price of your order and correct any incorrect information. Please note that products in your cart are not reserved and may be purchased by other customers until your order has been placed at checkout, processed, and accepted by SYD. You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and billing information for all purchases made on the Website.

Prolonged inactivity may cause your connection to the Website to fail, and your selection of products to be lost. In that case, you will be required to re-enter your selection of products to the shopping bag.

If you have issues with placing an order on the Website, please contact SYD Customer Care at hi@talkaboutsyd.com. If you have placed an order that you wish to cancel, please contact SYD Customer Care at hi@talkaboutsyd.com and we will issue a refund or cancel your invoice. Please note that we are unable to cancel an order once it has started to be processed by our warehouse.

5. Order confirmation

Once you have placed your order, SYD will send you an automatic order confirmation via email or SMS to confirm that your order has been received and that we will start to control the availability of the product(s). Please note that the order confirmation email is an acknowledgment that we have received your order and is not an acceptance of the order.

6. Acceptance and shipping confirmation

Please note that all orders placed on the Website are subject to acceptance by SYD. We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, at our discretion, choose to not accept your order for any reason whatsoever without any liability to you. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the e‑mail and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made.

7. Shipping and delivery

We ship all orders from our warehouse location in Sweden. We ship internationally and the countries we are currently able to ship to are Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and The United Kingdom. We offer different shipping methods depending on your needs and you can find estimated delivery times below:


Dhl: 1-2 business days (+1 day Norrland)

Early bird: 2-3 business days

Budbee: 1-2 business days


Deutsche post: 2-6 business days

Budbee : 2-3 business days.

Dispatch of orders may take up to 7 business days but we aim to process and ship all orders within 2 business days from when you placed your order. Please note that delivery times are provided as guidelines only, and commence from the date of dispatch. The delivery times do not take into account possible delays caused by payment authorization and/or stock availability. Please note that we are unable to cancel an order once it has left our warehouse. If SYD would fail to deliver your order within 30 days, you may have the right to cancel the purchase.

Your order will be delivered to your local delivery point or to your home depending on your chosen delivery method. A delivery notification will be sent via SMS when your package is ready to be collected or delivered to your home. All orders are fully traceable by clicking on "View my order" in your order confirmation email or the tracking number included in your shipping confirmation email.

9. Right of withdrawal and returns

You are entitled to withdraw your purchase by submitting or sending notice thereof to SYD within 14 days of the date on which you have received the product. The notice may be sent in different ways. Preferably, you can use our Return management platform. You can also use the standard form that can be found on Konsumentverket's website. You may also send us a letter or an e-mail including information that you will withdraw or exchange your purchase. If you send us an email, we will send you a confirmation upon receiving your notice. Please always refer to your order number in your communication with us. You may wish to keep a copy of your cancellation notification for your own records.

If you choose to withdraw your purchase in accordance with the above terms, SYD will issue a refund of the amount paid to SYD excluding the original shipping cost you have paid for the delivery from SYD to you. SYD currently offer a free return service in Sweden only. For purchases made within Sweden, SYD will pay the shipping cost for returning the products in accordance with your right of withdrawal and exchange. Please use our Return management portal to facilitate easy handling of this process. For international purchases, please note that you must pay the shipping cost for returning the products in accordance with the Return policy, SYD has no obligation to pay such costs.

10. Return confirmation

If you submit a return request through our Returns management platform, SYD will send you an automatic return confirmation via email or SMS to confirm that your request has been received and that you may proceed with the return shipment of your order to the SYD warehouse. Please note that the return confirmation email is an acknowledgment that we have received your return request and is not an acceptance of the return. Once your returned package has been received at the SYD warehouse, our personnel will check that the return complies with our Return policy and then approve or deny the refund.

Copyright in the documents provided in this Website (including, without limitation, the trademarks of SYD logos, graphics, text, photos, designs, logos, icons, images, data and software) are owned by or licensed to SYD and its affiliates. You are authorized to use this material only for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may download, print and store copies of this material for your own personal, non-commercial use, provided this Copyright Permission Notice is included in all such copies. You may not charge anyone for use of the material, and you may not publish, duplicate or otherwise distribute the material to others without prior consent from SYD. You may not modify the material in any way, without the prior written permission of the copyright owner. Except as expressly stated in this legal notice, no rights or licenses to the material, or any portion thereof, shall be granted or implied.

12. Trademarks

SYD’s trademarks include but are not limited to the SYD name and logo. Please note that your use of this Website does not grant you any rights to use our trademarks.

13. Information on the Website

SYD cannot guarantee that the information on the Website does not contain typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, product shipping charges, transit times and availability. We reserve the right to update and correct all content and information on the Website without prior notice.

Part of the services provided through the Website are maintained by third party operators. In situations where SYD acts as agent for such services, we cannot be held responsible for any errors resulting from their activities. SYD cannot be held responsible for any damage caused from using the Website or, for that matter, not being able to use the Website. SYD cannot guarantee problem-free, uninterrupted, and secure access to the Website.

The Website may contain links to third-party Websites beyond our control. We cannot be held liable for content or privacy policies of such Websites.

15. SYD responsibility

SYD liabilities to you are limited in each separate case to these Terms and Conditions unless otherwise is stipulated by law. In no case whatsoever will SYD assume any liability for indirect damages such as loss of profit or in case of force majeure such as war, civil war, revolution, riot, governmental measures, strike, lockout, blockage, failure of electricity, telephone or internet service, natural disasters or similar events. SYD's liabilities to you will never exceed your total purchase amount for each order. In case of force majeure, SYD's obligations will be suspended. The contract between you and SYD can, in such cases, be partially or fully terminated by yourself or by SYD.

Your submission of personal information through the Website is governed by our Privacy Policy.

17. User-generated content, customer reviews and other voluntary submissions

If you share with us certain specific submissions (for example contest entries), creative ideas, suggestions, proposals, plans, reviews, or other materials, with or without a request from us and whether online, by email, by postal mail, or otherwise (collectively, 'comments'), you agree that we may, at any time, without restriction, edit, copy, publish, distribute, translate and otherwise use in any medium any comments that you forward to us. These Terms and Conditions and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden.
